   I was born on March 17th 1980 to Charles and Rose Breland. The first 9 years of my life I was raised in Charleston, South Carolina. In may of 1990 we moved to the town of Cottageville and there I developed a love for competitive bass fishing. In 1995 I started fishing bass tournament and quickly became a member of a local bass club. In 1996 I met a man named BobHoneycutt who taught me the more technical side of bass fishing. He taught me when to fish different baits in different situations and taught me how to read and understand lake maps. I learned a lot from him and I can't thank him enough for the information he has given me over the years. After high school I started working for my family framing houses and on the weekends I was always on the water fishing tournaments or pre fishing for a tournament. In 2004 I started my own business Donald Breland Construction and in 2008 I sold my business so I could focus more on bass fishing and to further my education in marketing and sales as well as taking speaking classes. In 2009 I opened Donald Breland Marketing and I'm really looking forward to avery successful 2010 as I plan on fishing the Bassmaster Weekend Series in three divisions. Thanks, Donald Breland
